THE SPIRIT OF GIVING. Mission Viejo Saddleback Valley Elks #2444 were recognized for their Purple Pig contributions to the 52 Club ($52) and $100 Century Club at a recent February meeting. Exalted Ruler, Mike Long, first introduced Sven Akesson as our new Purple Pig Chairman, then both announced the recipients and presented certificates and pins to each. Congratulations for supporting the CHEA Major Project and helping disabled children. Member Dennis Lumley was also recognized for reaching the Millennium status ($1,000). A coin a day will help them walk, talk, see and play.
