November’s Elk of the Month was only initiated a few short months ago but has already become extremely involved.  Stuart Urquhart has not only volunteered himself and participated in almost every event since his initiation in July, he has also got his whole family involved with his wife Marcie and two young boys.  In his brief time as a member Stuart has volunteered for the Party in the Park, Cancer Kids Carnival, participated in the Elk Olympics, has received multiple Century Club awards from the purple pig and has attended almost every meeting since his initiation.  If there is any event that Stuart is not volunteering, it is likely because he is busy volunteering to help out his son’s Scout troop.  We love to see how Stuart and his family have jumped right in and hope that he can be an inspiration to other new members to become active within their new lodge.  When you see Stuart around the lodge let him know how much we all appreciate his hard work!
