He was a Marine and is currently serving in the California Army National Guard and has been recently called up several times to help with the fires up north. It is his second year as an Elk Veterans Committee Chairman. Jerrie organizes visits to Long Beach Veterans Hospital to play Bingo with Veterans. He assisted the President/CEO of Brain Education Strategies and Technologies, Inc. (BEST) with her application for a $65,000 grant to be submitted to Infinite Heroes Foundation. The grant will be used for a TBI/PTSD study BEST is conducting for 50 Veterans in four states, including California. Jerrie has also worked with getting donations to Mission Armed Forces (MAF) donations for Veterans Fall Football game. That’s not all, that’s just a quick view of Jerrie Muir.
